Rotterdam (NL)
Within the project the City of Rotterdam is placing a strategic emphasis on effectively engaging with specific target groups. It has been observed that in both Europe and the Netherlands, the majority of shared mobility users tend to be young, male, highly educated, and with a higher income. This group tends to adopt innovations after the early adopters. In this context, it is important to understand the drivers and barriers unique to this early majority group, which we aim to test within the Rotterdam region.
Our goal is to collaborate with WP Upscaling to gain valuable insights and knowledge. This collaboration will enable us to disseminate valuable knowledge and experience to other public organizations, including the cities within the Metropolitan Region Rotterdam such as The Hague. Ultimately, our intention is to leverage these insights to develop innovative solutions that cater to the specific needs of our target groups, creating a more inclusive and sustainable city.
