Across the North Sea Region, care providers are testing and adopting innovative technologies to meet the growing needs of citizens who want to live independently, securely, and with dignity at home.

The ACE project brings together municipalities, care staff, and solution providers to understand how these innovations - from telemedicine and medicine dispensers to digital locks and personal alarms - are changing the way homecare is delivered.

At this knowledge-sharing lunch and learn session, we will:

  • Share key findings from our transnational survey of 86 care provider representativesfrom Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium and France.
  • Highlight real-life pilot experiences from the ACE project, including films showcasing solutions from HelpSoq (Denmark) and SARA (the Netherlands).
  • Discuss barriers and success factors in implementing new technologies - from GDPR and costs to citizen independence and staff readiness – in a 30-minute panel discussion with care providers and pilot coordinators from each of the five countries.
  • Open the floor for discussion and reflection on lessons learned - and what they mean for the future of care.

This event is organised for practitioners, innovators, and other stakeholders from the homecare sector who want to learn from peers, explore practical experiences, and take away actionable insights on implementing technology in homecare.
