RotoBed, based in Lunderskov, Denmark, has developed a range of advanced care beds that make it easier and safer for users to move from lying down to standing up — in less than a minute. The beds are designed to enhance comfort, independence, and dignity for users while improving the working environment for caregivers by reducing strain and facilitating transfers. The company’s latest model, RotoBed Home, extends these benefits to users living in their own homes, supporting daily routines and self-reliance. Through the ACE project, RotoBed is collaborating with Tomelilla Municipality in Sweden to test how its technology can improve quality of life for users and reduce the physical demands placed on care staff.
