SARA, a company from Brabant in the Netherlands, developed a smart care assistant that provides personalised support to older adults while easing the workload of care professionals. Through the ACE project, SARA successfully completed pilots in both Turnhout and Kalmthout in Belgium, testing its proven Dutch solution in homecare settings. The device offers interactive programmes—such as quizzes, games, and movement exercises—that help reduce stress, maintain engagement, and promote calm. By stepping in during busy periods, SARA supports caregivers, enhances wellbeing, and brings more peace to clients and care teams alike.
