VSA Innovation AB, has developed SmartUrine – an innovative digital solution that automates urine testing and removes the need for manual sample handling. Compact and user-friendly, the device analyses urine for ten standard medical parameters, including glucose, protein, leukocytes, and nitrite, and transmits the results wirelessly in real time. Designed for both home and professional care settings, SmartUrine aims to improve hygiene, save time for healthcare staff, and enable faster, data-driven decisions in patient care. Through the ACE project, the company is testing its solution in collaboration with a care organisation in Zwolle, exploring how automation and digital connectivity can streamline diagnostics and support better clinical outcomes.
