Upcoming knowledge-sharing possibilities within ANCHOR were highlighted as well as in upcoming projects, e.g. in the Driving Urban Transition project REV:EU which starts early 2026. Other learning opportunities were presented, like the possibility to visit RecoLab outside the ANCHOR project, the network for water utilities interested in source-separating wastewater systems, upcoming courses on the topic at Luleå University of Technology and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. Furthermore, different opportunities for funding were presented. The presentations were followed by a lively and insightful discussion.

What is the ANCHOR project about?
Through a European demonstration network, ANCHOR is increasing the knowledge around source-separating wastewater systems and urban water reuse by (i) evaluating the city districts De Nieuwe Dokken in Ghent, Jenfelder Au in Hamburg, Superlocal in Kerkrade and Oceanhamnen in Helsingborg and (ii) implementing new water reuse systems in Helsingborg and Hamburg. ANCHOR is also developing knowledge around perception and behavioral change, governance and change agents in relation to source-separating wastewater systems as well as developing handbooks e.g. for planning.
