All ANCHOR demo sites use vacuum systems for the collection and conveyance of blackwater. While vacuum systems have been around for many years, they are still far from mainstream. Within ANCHOR, considerable effort has gone into improving their functionality outside of private buildings. From maintenance strategies and monitoring plans to digital tools that make system management smarter and more efficient.
