The Hannover pilot within BRAVE will test the development and scaling of energy management systems (EMS) that optimise the interaction of renewable generation, storage, and demand. The primary focus is on the housing sector, where EMS can enable fair and transparent tenant billing, ensure grid compliance, and increase the self- consumption of locally generated renewable electricity.
