Circular Trust Building (CTB) partners believe that the transition to a more circular construction sector can only happen if we strengthen dialogue across the region. A fine example of a simple but effective approach can been found, amongst others, in Sweden.
Here, our partners from Godahus and Linnaeus University, in collaboration with Vöfab and Region Kronoberg, foster regional cooperation by holding internal project meetings at the workplaces of industry partners.

New insights & stronger connections
This shift towards on site visits to stakeholder locations not only brings a fresh energy to discussions but also makes the conversation regarding the transition to a more circular construction sector more tangible and relevant.
Each visit provides the opportunity to explore new perspectives and strengthens the regional network.
CTB Sweden meet at GBJ Bygg
Circular principles in practice
Our CTB representative from Godahus, Anders Lundgren, explained further: “A visit to GBJ Bygg, a major construction contractor in the Kronenberg region, for instance, provided some valuable insights into how circular principles can be turned into actions in day-to-day work.
By discussing practical challenges and further opportunities for working together we have a clearer picture of how our project connects to tangible operations in the sector.”
Discovering synergies with stakeholders and sectors
Synergies between sectors
“We also discovered more synergies between construction and other sectors during another meeting when we visited Almi Kronoberg, an organization that runs a broad initiative to accelerate circular business models across industries,” Anders continued.
“Clearly, we can learn a lot from one another on how to accelerate the transition to a more circular constuction. By meeting partners and stakeholders at their workplaces, we create space for genuine dialogue and strengthen cooperation. Each visit brings fresh ideas and new connections.”
Through CTB, we can see how genuine dialogue and collaboration with partners accelerates the transition to circular construction. Together, the partners are building the trust and connections needed for a more sustainable future.
