Den Helder Airport attended the AIRTAXI World Congress (20-23 October) as the only European airport among major U.S. airports! The event showed gain cutting-edge insights on the future of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) through thought-provoking discussions on critical industry issues.

Den Helder Airport proudly presented its own stand as the only European airport among major U.S. airports. It successfully put #Diol, as a part of #interregnorthsea, in the spotlight and drew great interest in our potential as a future vertiport and becoming the third airport in the Netherlands ready to facilitate electric air traffic; an important step toward a more sustainable future for aviation.
Nick Waterdrinker, DHA´s Business Devopment Manager and DIOL representative, took the stage in the panel on "Airports as AAM Hubs: The New Operating Paradigms", to share its vision and exchange ideas with international partners. With excellent moderation by Naashom Marx (Woolpert ) and strong contributions from Edmonton International Airport (YEG), Miami International Airport, Aena, and Den Helder Airport, the session was a dynamic exchange on integration, safety, and the financial and operational challenges of bringing air taxis to life.
