Mid-term event Torsby
During this day, participants will share and discuss current knowledge and data on flood risks in Torsby Municipality, with a focus on the Klarälven River. The program will explore key topics such as identifying vulnerable areas, assessing potential impacts on people, buildings, and infrastructure, and discussing knowledge gaps that can guide further work within the FIER project.
The workshop will also briefly cover Torsby Municipality’s emergency planning in case of a potential dam failure. This includes planning for the evacuation of certain areas during severe events as part of the municipality’s broader preparedness efforts.
The event will feature interactive discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions aimed at strengthening collaboration. Participants will jointly identify vulnerabilities, capacities, and future cooperation opportunities to enhance flood resilience in Torsby and along the Klarälven River.
