In this pilot we will test cost-effective and natural methods to prevent continued erosion of salt meadows. We have selected four locations along the Swedish west coast. The salt meadows in these locations are affected by rapid erosion. Natural and unique ecosystems both underwater and along the shores are at risk of disappearing.
The methods we are testing should be possible to apply in other places with similar problems.
