The OASIS Accelerator Programme’s third Support Call, co-hosted by BUILDERS École d’Ingénieurs / Engineering School

Designed for SMEs ready to transform ideas into market-ready solutions, this programme offers technical training, expert mentorship, and a high-impact Pressure Cooker Event (PCE). Join a network of innovators and investors at Builders École d’ingénieurs in Caen, where maritime expertise meets cutting-edge energy tech.

BUILDERS, a leading French engineering school, is the ideal partner for SMEs looking to innovate in maritime and offshore solutions. The school’s lab advanced digital services, including bathymetric studies, provide all the tools required to transition to physical simulations in its wave channel—a unique facility in France. This state-of-the-art equipment guarantees the safety and reliability of offshore structures while optimizing their design. Additionally, BUILDERS’ commitment to climate resilience includes drone services for monitoring coastal infrastructure, mitigating flood risks, and securing projects against rising sea levels.

This expertise aligns perfectly with OASIS’s goals—accelerating innovation in offshore renewables and energy storage. Our lab and team bring direct value to supported SMEs through:

🔬 Offshore hydraulics & infrastructure testing – simulations, prototyping, and real-world validation.
🌊 Holistic marine energy solutions – balancing technical, environmental, and economic challenges.
🤝 Strong industry-academia network – bridging SMEs with key partners and resources.
📊 Tailored training programs – upskilling teams on offshore innovation and system integration.
🏭 Deep industry ties – partnerships with maritime leaders for pilot projects and scaling.

During our site visit, you’ll discover the Green River prototype; a floating energy hub in Honfleur that combines smart moorings, solar, wind, and tidal energy into one resilient system. Tested in extreme conditions (8m tides, saltwater corrosion), it’s a real-world proof of the hybrid energy solutions OASIS aims to scale.

This PCE takes place in parallel to the 3rd Maritime Engineering Meeting (Rencontres de l’Ingénierie Maritime or RIM), offering a unique platform to pitch, prototype, and partner with sector leaders; a forum for maritime expertise exchange between experts, scientists, and public and private companies, and addressing topics directly relevant for the local communities and economic stakeholders; including complex infrastructure and structures, digital methods for maritime construction, and nature-based solutions.

Over three days, you’ll gain access to technical support and top-of-industry networks, all in the heart of Europe’s maritime innovation hub.
