Offshore hydrogen; is it the missing link for 2050? 

We often talk about electrification, but a single transatlantic flight uses as much energy as 250 European households do in a year. Pure electrification isn't enough for aviation or parts of the heavy manufacturing industry. 

At OASIS, we are looking if and how moving hydrogen production offshore could reduce infrastructure costs from a systems integration standpoint. But we also critically assess its challenges on cost, risks & environmental impacts. 

DMEC's Simon Johannes Stark and Benjamin Lehner dive into this debate and the future of green energy system integration.
