Next up in the OASIS programme is the second Pressure Cooker Event, hosted by ÅKP, an innovation company focusing on ocean-based industries, located on the northwest coast of Norway. This Norwegian Pressure Cooker Event will have a special focus on harbours and its infrastructure, as well as energy islands and energy supply/storage within aquaculture.
We encourage North Sea region-based SMEs developing solutions within the field of system integration and energy storage to apply! Similar to the first edition’s, the programme will consist of-site visits, pitching & feedback sessions, networking opportunities and training.
Some of the planned activities include:
- Site visits to cost-effective floating solar power solutions
- Site visits to harbours, and potential meetings with key stakeholders within harbour infrastructure such as Plug shore power and charging solutions
- Presentations and potential meetings with key players within the green hydrogen ecosystem.
ÅKP will facilitate connection with both national and regional stakeholders such as:
- Potential customers sharing their needs
- System providers piecing together multiple components for larger customers
- Harbours, where the solutions would need to be connected to - Norway has many smaller harbours along our coastline, perfect to test new technology
- Risk capital accelerating innovative solutions
- Successful companies that have experience with the entrepreneurial journey with its challenges and opportunities
With a membership comprising nearly 300 companies, from ship-building and fishing, to aquaculture and seafood processing, the combined clusters from ÅKP, GCE Blue Maritime Cluster, NCE Blue Legasea, spans across the whole value chain. We encourage and facilitate meeting requests between SMEs and our members during the visit.
