ShareDiMobihub held a thematic meeting on digital dashboards and shared mobility data during the project’s last partner meeting  in the city of Hamburg.  Moving forward from the last edition, where the project discussed the future of the shared mobility market, this time, a thematic exploration of digital dashboards and data stood prominently as a focal point, weaving through discussions and catalyzing in-depth exchanges.

Fiction becomes a data reality

Kicking off the day's agenda was an innovative session that took participants into the imaginative landscapes of Emerald City, Rivendell, and Hogsmeade Station. Guided by the challenge of conceptualizing transportation solutions to solve mobility problems, participants employed  data insights to provide resolutions for these fictional cities. This experimental exercise generated a dynamic dialogue around the source and utilization of data, ending up in collective presentations detailing strategies and approaches for each unique urban context.

Hamburg's Mobility Initiatives: Spotlight on the PMO Dashboard

Transitioning to a more localized perspective, Stefanie Schweder and Johannes Lauer, from the Project Management Office of New Mobility Solutions Hamburg GmbH, delved into the ins and outs of the Hamburg Dashboard. Their discourse showed Hamburg's innovative mobility initiatives, underpinned by the city’s integrated ITS strategy. As they went through the critical milestones of the city's mobility transition strategy, the duo emphasized the PMO dashboard's central role. The growing portfolio of 234 ITS projects proves Hamburg's ambitious trajectory in the field of digital mobility solutions.

Fluctuo's Rise: Pioneering Data Solutions in Shared Mobility

In the latter segment of the meeting, the narrative took a shift, with Sébastien Marteaux representing Fluctuo. Emanating from the vibrant quarters of Paris, Fluctuo's narrative is one of rapid growth and innovation in the sphere of shared mobility. Sébastien showed Fluctuo's distinctive methodology in data management, encompassing both open data sources and strategic data collection partnerships. He further elaborated on Fluctuo's flow of products — from the data-driven decision-enabling CITYDIVE to the geo-specific DELTA and the global real-time aggregator BRIDGE. Each product, with its unique functionality, encapsulated Fluctuo's commitment to revolutionizing shared mobility through data.

As the thematic meeting in Hamburg reached its conclusion, the day's discussions and deliberations generated a picture of the potential of digital dashboards and data in reshaping mobility's future. These tools are not mere technological innovations; they are catalysts for cities and regions towards a more sustainable and integrated mobility landscape.

Central to this vision is the ShareDiMobiHub project, creating the shift from private car ownership to a more inclusive shared mobility framework. By establishing shared mobility hubs, ShareDiMobiHub envisions cities and regions where transportation isn't just about vehicles but about efficient and eco-friendly connectivity. This integrated approach, backed by strategies to reclaim urban spaces for shared mobility and nudges towards diminishing private car reliance, is a clear example of a cooperative and innovative mobility model.
