The past two days have been both emotional and inspiring for the ShareDiMobiHub project, as partners, stakeholders, and mobility enthusiasts came together one last time to reflect on achievements and share visions for the future of shared mobility.

The journey began with ShareDiMobiHub’s final conference, held as part of Shared Mobility Rocks. Our session provided the perfect platform to look back on the pilots that shaped the project and the lessons learned along the way. Discussions focused particularly on the role of data and digitalisation in making shared mobility hubs more efficient and scalable, as well as the crucial step of moving from small-scale pilots to citywide transformation. These exchanges demonstrated just how far the project has come and how much potential lies ahead for European cities aiming to embrace more sustainable and integrated mobility systems.

The momentum carried into the following day, when partners gathered in Utrecht for the final project meeting. This was a valuable opportunity to look back on the project’s journey as a whole, reviewing the objectives we set out to achieve, evaluating our impact, and reflecting on the richness of transnational cooperation and knowledge management. Through group brainstorming and open discussions, participants highlighted successes, explored challenges, and shared ideas for how the legacy of ShareDiMobiHub can continue to shape future mobility initiatives. The conversations were insightful, candid, and forward-looking, underlining the strong bonds formed throughout the project.

The event was not only about dialogue but also about discovery. In Utrecht, participants joined a site visit to explore mobility hubs and experience first-hand how hubs can reshape urban travel. Partners visited the MOLOHUBS  pilot in Amsterdam, a living example of how shared mobility can be embedded into the daily life of a busy city. MoLoHubs combines mobility hubs and logistics services to improve quality of urban life and boost mobility transition. The goal is to cut emissions, reduce traffic and create urban meeting places to make our cities more liveable. The project develops user-centric logistics services at urban mobility hubs to reduce city traffic and make hubs more attractive. By applying smart digital solutions and fostering digital skills, it drives innovation in urban mobility. These site visits offered inspiration and practical lessons, bringing to life the themes we had been discussing in meeting rooms.

To close the experience, the group enjoyed a beautiful boat tour through the canals of sunny Amsterdam. Against the backdrop of one of Europe’s most iconic mobility-friendly cities, this moment allowed everyone to celebrate the achievements of ShareDiMobiHub, reflect on the partnerships built, and look ahead with optimism.

As the project draws to a close, one thing is clear: ShareDiMobiHub has been more than just a series of pilots and studies: it has been a community of practice, learning, and innovation. The knowledge generated, the cooperation fostered, and the inspiration shared over these two final days will continue to influence the development of shared mobility long after the project’s official end.

Finally, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all partners, stakeholders, and collaborators who have been part of this journey. Your commitment, expertise, and enthusiasm have been the driving force behind the project’s success. While ShareDiMobiHub may officially conclude here, the spirit of cooperation and innovation it fostered will carry on. Together, we have taken important steps toward shaping more sustainable, connected, and people-friendly cities across Europe.
