Capital Region of Denmark (DK)

The Capital Region of Denmark is responsible for establishing and implementing a pilot where shared mobility solutions are developed and tested in interaction with end users.  The pilot will be established between two public train stations and two Hospitals in the Region. The aim is to increase accessibility and mobility for people with reduced mobility. Through co-creative processes, end-user needs will form the basis for the development and adaptation of shared mobility solutions to be tested between the locations.

Pilot sites:

  • Shared mobility solutions will be tested between our hospitals and public train stations. The pilot will take place at Glostrup Hospital and Glostrup Station and Herlev Hospital and Herlev Station, connecting the public transport stations to the Hospitals.
  • The Hospitals are located in the suburban area of Copenhagen, with a distance of approx. 1,5-2 km to the station, which is a suitable distance for shared mobility to cover the first or last mile of the trip. The area is very car dependent, among all people going to and from the hospitals, whether it be patients, visitors, or employees.
