Annual meeting: Collaboration in motion, impact in progress

From November 25-26, 2025, TU Eindhoven is hosting the STORM_SAFE Annual meeting at the campus. The theme -Collaboration in motion, impact in progress- will take centre stage. Water safety challenges do not stop at the border, which is why engineers, scientists, managers and policymakers from Northern Europe are collaborating to develop demonstrably safer digital systems for our critical infrastructures. Digital systems are becoming increasingly complex, and the risks are becoming more dynamic. This is precisely why international cooperation is not an option, but a necessity. From shared pilots to joint methods, cooperation accelerates progress and improves safety. 

On Wednesday November 26, the EU projects BEPROACT Interreg NWE and ATHENA will join STORM_SAFE for a combined session, a valuable moment where partners from all three EU projects meet, exchange expertise, and share their pilot cases. From machine learning to virtual reality, from water safety to talking assets – the diversity of knowledge and innovations shows how we can truly connect with one another.
