Day 2 of the STORM_SAFE Annual meeting in Ostend

The day kicked off with a general introduction, followed by three parallel breakout groups diving into the pilot cases:

• Mark Bouwman – Pilot cases Rijkswaterstaat, NLWKN (Emssperrwerk) and Environment Agency; 
• Johan van den Bogaard – Pilot cases Gothenburg and Danish Coastal Authority;
• Bernhard Thieme – Pilot cases Voies navigables de France (VNF) and Flanders (VMM).

Each group worked through a joint pitch of the pilot university/infraprovider based on the project plan, defining individual goals for the pilot. They took inventory of what’s needed to achieve those goals, including obstacles and risks and wrapped up with answers to the following questions: Are we on track? What actions are needed?
