STORM_SAFE representing the Netherlands at the EU Regions week!

For three days, from 13 - 15 October, Brussels will be the backdrop to regional and urban innovation during the EU Regions week. One 'spotlight project' is STORM_SAFE.

STORM_SAFE is a project in which European partners, including Rijkswaterstaat, work towards reliable software for hydrological infrastructure, like storm-surge barriers and locks.

In the Digital Resilience in Storms session, STORM_SAFE demonstrates how digital solutions can contribute to a robust water-safety system: from more reliable software for storm-surge barriers to transnational pilots and policy recommendations.
