Moxiam a Swedish company, has developed a smart home monitoring solution that helps older adults live safely and independently for longer while offering peace of mind to families and care professionals. The system combines discreet sensors with an intuitive app that tracks daily routines and detects unusual patterns in real time, all while keeping the “senior in control” of their data. Through the ACE project, Moxiam completed a pilot in Belgium with LiCalab and care group Orion, successfully demonstrating how proactive, privacy-respecting technology can enhance safety, reduce stress, and support more personalised care.
