We will explore: How do bio-based building materials that are ready for implementation achieve a breakthrough?
The aim of this workshop is to convey that the use of bio-based building materials has already been extensively tested and can be implemented in practice. At the same time, it is clear that targeted efforts and additional steps are still needed to consistently bring the topic into broad application.
After the first part of the session provides proof of feasibility and readiness for implementation, the second part will address the question of the future of bio-based construction. Is the topic "ready for take off"? What efforts and measures are necessary at the various levels to bring the topic more into public awareness and thus into broader implementation?
Participants are invited to visit two outdoor showrooms that vividly demonstrate the use of bio-based building materials: the wooden pavilion from the project.
