ORCHESTRATING THE BIOBASED TRANSITION
The reports provide a clear picture of how different regions are currently filling the orchestrator role. The first report explains the definition of the orchestrator role. The second report builds on that and looks at practice. It shows how far the regions have come and what they can do to strengthen the role further. When reading the report, you will see that a lot is already happening, but that there are clear differences between regions as well. To strengthen orchestration in the BBoBB regions, a next step is to support one or two key orchestrators per region. These can act as central points that connect stakeholders and coordinate activities.
BUILDING THE NORTH SEA BIOBASED ECONOMY: INSIGHTS FROM REGIONAL INITIATIVES
This report provides an overview of ongoing and completed initiatives in the partner regions focusing on four crops: flax, hemp, miscanthus, and cattail. It outlines who is involved, where the initiatives take place, and what they aim to achieve. The report also highlights success factors and common challenges. By bringing together lessons from both successful and less successful initiatives, the report offers guidance on how to strengthen biobased value chains and scale circular solutions across the NSR.
