A Surprise Showcase of Hampens Hus at BLOXHUB’s “Building the Bio-based Future Day”
Last week, our partners from Guldborgsund Kommune attended the Building the Bio-based Future Day at BLOXHUB in Copenhagen and were met with an unexpected but very welcome surprise.
The company responsible for the dimensioning of Hampens Hus, on their own initiative, had prepared a full roll-up and a presentation of the project.
The event itself brought together a wide range of biobased and recycled materials, featuring everything from innovative construction techniques hemp curtains.
Showcasing Hampens Hus: Physical Model & Presentation
Structured Environment illustrated the dimensioning of Hampens Hus with both a 1:20 physical model and a detailed presentation during the event.

The showcase at BLOXHUB highlights how biobased materials, digital fabrication, and circular construction principles can be successfully integrated in real-life building projects.
Hampens Hus serves as a strong example of:
- bio-based insulation and structural solutions,
- reduced use of metals and synthetic materials,
- locally sourced, renewable building materials, and
- combining new technologies with traditional building crafts.
We are so proud of that BBoBB project pilot demonstrating practical and scalable approaches to bio-based construction in this event.
