Preserving Crabs for Public Outreach

To enhance our outreach and educational initiatives on the invasive Chinese mitten crab, we’ve recently created several life-sized specimens preserved in crystal-clear epoxy resin.

These preserved crabs are a hands-on tool we now use at public events, exhibitions and for media relations —allowing people to see this invasive species up close and learn about its impact on local ecosystems.
