The Final Conference Event of the DARKER SKY Project
During our final conference we will share our progress and main findings developed during the 3 years of our project:
- Light Pollution Mapping and Monitoring Guide
- Evaluations of our eight implemented light-reduction solutions
- Sky Brightness Map for selected North Sea Region areas
- Regional Action Plans for the Roll-out of Light Reduction Solutions
- Transnational Strategy to Reduce Light Pollution and Strengthen Dark Ecological Corridors

Our final project conference is taking place within 15th European Conference for Ecological Restoration (SERE2026).The EU-wide conference is hosted by our project partner University of Brest on 24-28th August 2026 at its Faculty of Sciences.
It's the occasion to underline a new aspect of ecological restoration work: night restoration!
