At the Smart City World Expo, 4-6 November 2025, experts from around the world are discussing how regions can be made technologically, ecologically, and socially future-proof.
Together with our dedicated Data for All partners, we focus not on isolated strategies, but on a Smart Regions approach that considers rural areas, medium-sized towns, and metropolitan regions equally. How can data be meaningfully connected, barriers removed, and regional innovation spaces created? We demonstrate how regions can strengthen their resilience through open data spaces, standardised interfaces, data-based decision-making processes, and data literacy.
