Why H2? Why Now?
The North Sea Region is leading Europe’s green energy shift. With abundant offshore wind and growing hydrogen production, we have the building blocks for zero-emission transport. Yet barriers remain:
- Hydrogen trucks and vessels are still expensive and hard to scale
- Most hydrogen initiatives are small, isolated, and lack public-private alignment
- Viable business models for hydrogen logistics are scarce
- Outdated public procurement and incentive structures block market uptake

Across four regional pilot ecosystems in the Netherlands, France, Denmark, and Sweden, we bring together vehicle manufacturers, logistics firms, public authorities, policy makers,and academia to co-develop solutions. Each pilot ecosystem follows the same 5-step approach:
