Groningen Airport Eelde is leading the way toward fully decarbonized airport operations by producing green hydrogen from on-site solar power ☀️⚡Together with the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen the Airport works in this pilot on

🔋 Direct coupling of solar power to a 1 MW electrolyser
🚛 On-site trailer fill station for mobile hydrogen distribution
⛽ HRS for both airside and landside vehicles
📡 Connection to the regional hydrogen network
💡 Trial zone with EV chargers & smart public lighting
🎯 The ultimate goal: a fully zero-emission airport, including clean kerosene supply via the SkyNRG DSL-01 SAF project in Delfzijl.
