The research, conducted within the Smart Connected Bicycle project, evaluates warning systems for e-cyclists, intelligent motor control systems, and mobile sensing methods to measure positive cycling experiences. The thesis contains valuable recommendations for industry, government, and academic stakeholders.
The defence will take place at the University of Twente in Enschede. Walk-in from 14.00, ceremony from 14.30 to 16.00.
A live stream will be arranged for attending remotely, and the thesis will become publicly available at least around two weeks before the defence date. Both the thesis and live stream links will be posted online in due time on this page: UTwente PhD Defences.
For those travelling to Enschede for the International conference on smart cycling the following day, this is a timely opportunity to attend both events. All are warmly welcome.
