NESSIE aims to acquire more staff and accelerate knowledge transfer to professionals by: 

• Developing innovative curricula to accelerate renewable energy education by introducing Short Advanced Courses for vocational education – Attractive for students and easily replicable 
• Increase in the number of students (graduates and lateral entrants) through recruitment campaigns that is inclusive and targets a wide variety of interests 
• Learning by doing - Accelerated growth in capacity and skills through +1,000 new certified vocationally trained energy transition professionals  
• Structured exchange of best practices between North Sea Regions and proactive contribution to national and EU policies on urgent energy transition vocational education
