As the NESSIE project continues to build capacity in the energy transition workforce, we’re proud to spotlight a valuable new resource: Every1’s Knowledge Hub—a dynamic, EU-supported platform offering tailored courses, videos, and tools on key digital energy topics. The knowledge hub was developed in part by NESSIE partner, Flux50!

A look inside the hub
What Is the Knowledge Hub?
Every1’s Knowledge Hub is envisioned as a central gateway for professionals, policymakers, and engaged citizens alike, enabling self-directed exploration of the digital energy transition. It has three core types of content:
- Learning Pathways: Curated journeys (e.g., Digital Energy Transition Fundamentals, The European Energy Market) designed to progressively build domain knowledge
- Learning Materials: A modular library of short, focused resources—including online courses, videos, case studies, and open‑licensed materials. Examples include “Smart Devices and Digital Energy Technologies,” “Electricity Markets: Demand Response,” and “Privacy, Safety and Security in the Digital Energy Landscape”
- Tool Repository: An interactive toolbox that supports practical application—ranging from consumption analytics to mobility and economic‑impact modelling
Users can also create a personalized Learning Space to bookmark content and track progress.
Key Topics Covered
The Hub’s content focuses on the digitalization of the energy transition and data accessibility for everyone from grid operators to end consumers. Topics include but are not limited to:
- Digital Energy Transformation
- Electricity Markets & Demand Response
- Clean Energy Sources & Smart Devices
- Digital Energy Security (e.g. privacy, safety, cyber resilience)
- Energy Management, Mobility Planning, and more with supporting case studies and tools
How to Use the Hub?
- Explore learning pathways aligned to your role or field.
- Engage with modular courses or videos—e.g., “Electricity Markets: Understanding Prices and Tariffs.”
- Deploy tools—such as consumption analytics or EV planning calculators—to contextualize learning.
- Bookmark and track content in a personalized Learning Space to support continual professional development
A Step Toward Digital-Ready Professionals
By bridging structured curricula, bite‑sized materials, and practical tools, Every1’s Hub fosters a community of digitally equipped energy practitioners. As NESSIE continues to upskill technicians through short advanced courses, traineeships, and E‑campus modules, this Hub offers both a complement and a model for future growth.
