The Port of Den Helder
“The maritime energy transition demands decisive action and ports play a crucial role in making it happen. As a Wadden Sea port with a facilitating function, we are investing in sustainability and innovation. Projects like NS H2V Ports help us future-proof the Port of Den Helder as the green gateway to the North Sea.”
The Port of Den Helder is advancing multiple hydrogen initiatives that support zero-emission operations on land and water, including infrastructure development and demonstration activities. Regional programmes such as the Zephyros electrolyser illustrate the port’s ambition to anchor green hydrogen production and maritime use in and around Den Helder.
