On the 12th June, the North Sea Hydrogen Valley Ports (NSH2V Ports) project was featured during the Interreg & Hydrogen event organized by Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO) in Utrecht. The event brought together Interreg projects, policymakers, and industry stakeholders working at the forefront of Europe’s hydrogen transition.

During the pitch session, the NSH2V Ports team presented the context, ambitions, and first results of the project. NSH2V Ports focuses on accelerating the development of safe and scalable hydrogen infrastructure across four pioneering port regions: Brest, Bremen, Den Helder, and Esbjerg. By addressing safety, regulation, and operational integration, the project aims to make hydrogen a viable and routine part of port operations.

The event provided a valuable platform to exchange insights with other Interreg initiatives and to explore how Interreg programmes are supporting cross-border collaboration and innovation in hydrogen deployment across Europe.

We would like to thank the organizers Daan Geraets, Diede Streng, and David Grzegorzewski, as well as all participants for the engaging discussions and shared commitment to advancing the hydrogen economy. Let’s keep the momentum going.
