Shipping & Offshore Network

a long-standing convenor in Norway’s maritime community and an active partner in NS H2V Ports.

In NS H2V Ports, SON strengthens the project’s network-building, market insight, and competence development, connecting stakeholders across shipping, offshore energy, finance, and policy. Their convening power helps translate ideas into action, bridging ports, industry, and academia across borders.

SON counts 50 members from several countries and, together with Oslo Shipowners’ Association (the Oslo chapter of the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association) and Ocean Industry Forum Oslofjord (Maritime Forum Oslofjorden), forms the Maritime Oslofjord Alliance (est. 2018).

Project pedigree: SON was a partner in the Interreg Baltic Sea Region “Go LNG” project (2016–2019) and continues as a partner in Interreg Baltic Sea Region (2022–2025), bringing hands-on experience from cleaner fuels to port innovation.

We’re delighted to have SON on board, helping our consortium align markets, capabilities, and people for a cleaner, smarter North Sea maritime system.
