REMARCO Consortium Meets in Bremerhaven to Advance Joint Work and Plan Next Steps
From 24 to 26 November, representatives of the REMARCO Consortium convened in Bremerhaven to discuss the current status of the project, align ongoing work, and coordinate the next phase of collaboration. For the first time, the two new Norwegian partners — Forsvarshistorisk Museum and UiT The Arctic University of Norway — joined the meeting, further strengthening the project’s international cooperation.
Over the course of three days, the consortium reviewed progress made during the past six months, shared insights from ongoing activities, and refined plans for the remaining project duration. Key discussions focused on synchronizing scientific work, preparing upcoming deliverables, and ensuring a smooth integration of results into technical, strategic, and policy-oriented outputs.
The team also exchanged updates on recent fieldwork, laboratory studies, and pilot developments, reflecting the strong momentum of collaborative efforts across participating institutions. Special attention was given to upcoming joint tasks, cross-work-package coordination, and preparations for the next major consortium gathering.
The meeting concluded with a clear roadmap for the months ahead — one that reinforces cooperation across borders and disciplines. With all partners now aligned on priorities and shared objectives, REMARCO enters the next project phase with renewed clarity and commitment.
The consortium looks forward to continuing this productive collaboration and to meeting again in Ostend in 2026, where the next major assembly will take place.
