Local stakeholders have come together to find solutions for the biomass residues from the Gulke Putten nature reserve. In addition to the professional team and volunteers from Natuurpunt, potential stakeholders include local farmers and tree nurseries. This area also contains a significant amount of old grass clippings that have been stored and piled up for years without any conditioning. ILVO will provide guidance on processing options, analyze input and output materials, and advise farmers on the best practices for utilizing these resources. VIAVERDA will also participate in this case study, working to engage their network of tree nurseries.
