Our Pilots

In CLOSECYCLE, showcases demonstrate best practices and innovative solutions for the valorisation of residue-based bioresources from rural and urban areas to produce multiple products for the use within the region. The different showcase examples are assigned to 7 themes: Apple Chain, Nature Conservation, Greenhouses, Treecultivation, Municipality and farms, biorefinery modules and Food Crops. We also show how Territorial Biorefinery Networks (TBN) can be initiated by bringing together regional stakeholders. These regional stakeholders work together to close the cycles! The showcases are the key elements of the Territorial Biorefinery Networks.
