Farm-based biogas production and upgrade

This showcase is located in the Västra Götaland region at a natural resource school just outside Töreboda. The school practices organic farming, large-scale organic horticulture, and offers a range of educational programs in animal and nature care. Food waste from the school is composted and used for vegetable cultivation. The school focuses on green bioeconomy and circularity and operates a farm-based biogas plant. The biogas plant is integrated into the school’s heating system, providing heat, electricity, and the option to upgrade biogas into compressed natural gas using a unique ash filter technology.
