This showcase is located in the Västra Götaland region at the natural resource school just outside Töreboda. The school practices organic farming and large scale organic horticulture. And offers numerous educational programs in animal and nature care. Food waste from the school is composted and used in vegetable cultivation. The school focuses on the green bioeconomy and circularity and operates a farm-based plant for green biorefinery. The bio-refinery features a a screw press with a capacity of about 2 tons of biomass per hour. The primary biomass used includes fresh grass, clover, and silage. The fresh biomass can be further processed into protein powder through heat coagulation and sepraration. Utilizing a decanter centrifuge integrated in the system.
