Zero-emission (ZE) zones are becoming an important policy tool for reducing urban emissions, but their success depends on how they are designed and implemented. This GLEAM NSR webinar explores what makes zero-emission zones work in practice, and for whom.
The session will open with a brief introduction to the GLEAM NSR project and its upcoming webinar series, followed by key lessons from the Netherlands’ 10-year journey towards ZE zones. Rotterdam’s experience will then provide a city-level perspective, highlighting practical insights and links to the GLEAM project. The webinar will conclude with a Q&A.
