Two weeks ago, Emma from Sotenäs Municipality (LP) and Peder from Skagen Education Centre (aLP) attended the North Sea Conference in Oldenburg, Germany. Two exciting days with interesting content, study visits, exchange and networking with participants from other project in the programme and inspiring speakers. The conference aims to reinforce cooperation in the region and mobilise all stakeholders in addressing current and future challenges.

A Strong Focus on Resilient Regions
One theme stand out more clearly than ever: resilience. Building resilient regions - rural, coastal, and beyond - is not just about adapting to change, but about shaping the future together. Through collaboration across sectors and borders, we’re strengthening local capacity, empowering communities, and creating long-term conditions for sustainable development. Our Pilot Hubs are living examples of this transformation in action - where ldifferent Multi Helix actorscome together to co-create solutions that last.
And at the heart of this work lies a growing recognition of the importance of youth engagement, diversity, and cross-border collaboration.
It’s inspiring to see a growing commitment to engaging young people—not just for the future, but here and now. Recognising the power of collaboration across borders, and embracing diversity as a strength, is essential to our shared journey toward resilience and empowerment.
