Laesoe Hub Hosts Planning Meeting for APC26 and Future Collaboration
Last week, the Sotenäs Centre of Symbiosis and the Skagen Education Centre visited the Laesoe Hub. The visit had three main goals:
- Start planning the Annual Partnership Conference 2026 (APC26)
- Talk about communication strategies and how to connect the Hubs to the eco-innovation system
- Learn more about Laesoe, exchange and dialouge about ideas/upcoming work
The planning for APC26 is now moving forward. We had many good discussions about the program and how to balance learning about Laesoe and its Hub, building teamwork, and having workshops and exchanges.
In the next phase of the project, we will focus on strengthening the Hub’s eco-innovation system, refining its identity, and developing effective communication strategies. These efforts will contribute directly to the creation of actionable Hub plans and support the Pilot Hubs in their transformation towards becoming more Multiple Helix. We look forward to making progress together with you on these important topics! More to come in upcoming Presentation & Talks, as well as workshops!

During our recent gathering, we took the opportunity to exchange activities across Hubs to foster further collaboration. We also explored the local area of Laesoe, including insightful study visits to Læsø Tang and Læsø Salt. In addition, we gained valuable impressions of the island’s cultural heritage and local pride, such as the iconic seaweed houses and the fishing harbour.

All onboard in rural societies for a fair future !
