Our team recently attended the Marketplace for the programme agains marine pollution by the Zukunft – Umwelt – Gesellschaft (ZUG) in Berlin, where we had the opportunity to present Project TREASURE at our stand. The event featured a total of 13 organizations and stakeholders, all dedicated to addressing the issue of marine litter. The exchange between participants and exhibitors was highly engaging, fostering discussions on innovative solutions and collaborative efforts. We used the opportunity to establish links with other ongoing projects, such as the Interreg South Baltic Sea's "Circular Ocean-bound Plastic" (COP) project.

Additionally, Project TREASURE participated in the Round Table on Marine Litter, where we are represented by the University of Oldenburg. This meeting brought together experts from politics, environmental organizations, and industry working groups to discuss strategies for tackling marine pollution. The Round Table plays a crucial role in coordinating national measures against marine litter and supporting their implementation.Through these discussions, guidelines for action and further developments are created to enhance efforts in combatting marine pollution.
