On 26 June 2025, HafenCity Universität Hamburg will host the annual Dies Academicus under the theme “Climate Impulses: Research. Teaching. Shaping the Future.”

Among the highlights is the CircleBIM workshop: “How can digital BIM support more circular, resource-efficient planning and construction processes?” This session will present the CircleBIM research project, focusing on digital strategies to enhance material reuse and sustainability. Drawing on the Hamburg pilot project “Ex-Karstadt-Harburg,” the workshop offers an interdisciplinary platform for experts and participants from construction, urban planning, and research to discuss new approaches to circular construction.
