Strengthening regional and European cooperation around research, education, and circular construction.
On 27 January 2026, BUILDERS École d’Ingénieurs hosted the TENOR network meeting at its campus, bringing together representatives from higher education institutions, regional authorities, innovation clusters, and support organizations to discuss BUILDERS’ engagement in European projects, including CircleBIM.
The event provided an overview of BUILDERS École d’Ingénieurs as a higher education and research institution committed to sustainable construction, digital innovation, and applied research. Participants were introduced to the school’s educational programmes, research units, and internal organization dedicated to the management and coordination of European projects.
A dedicated part of the meeting focused on BUILDERS’ involvement in CircleBIM, the Interreg North Sea project supporting circular construction through BIM-enabled and data-driven approaches. The presentation positioned CircleBIM within a broader portfolio of European initiatives, illustrating how research, education, and innovation are closely connected at BUILDERS.
In addition to CircleBIM, other ongoing European projects were presented, including Interreg and Erasmus+ initiatives addressing climate adaptation, energy transition, resilience, and digital practices. These examples highlighted BUILDERS’ active role in transnational cooperation and its contribution to regional and European innovation ecosystems.
The meeting welcomed participants from a wide range of organizations, including universities, regional departments of Région Normandie, innovation clusters, business support structures, and European networks, fostering rich exchanges and opportunities for future collaboration.
BUILDERS and the CircleBIM partners thank all participants for their engagement and valuable discussions, contributing to a shared reflection on European projects and sustainable construction practices.
