Presentation highlights digital innovation and sustainability in future teaching and learning
On 26–27 June 2025, the CircleBIM team participated in the third edition of IDDI – "Learning and Teaching" at Builders École d'Ingénieurs in Caen, France. This two-day event brought together educators, researchers, and students to explore new horizons in higher education, focusing on learning spaces, multiculturalism, peer evaluation, and agents of change in ecological and digital transitions.
CircleBIM’s presentation, held alongside a colleague from the LCCP BUILDERS initiative, showcased how BIM can be effectively integrated to support circular construction principles within engineering education. The session sparked engaging conversations about embedding sustainability and digital innovation into curricula and highlighted the value of cross-disciplinary collaboration in advancing both educational methods and sustainable building practices.
Supported by Région Normandie and Banque des Territoires through the Sciconum project, IDDI 2025 proved to be a dynamic forum for exchanging ideas on how digital tools can reshape teaching and learning for a sustainable future.
