Project presentation highlights digital strategies for circular public construction

On 26 March 2025, the annual Knowledge Sharing Seminar for Architectural Technology and Construction Management Schools took place in Odense, Denmark, bringing together professionals and academics to discuss the future of digitalisation in construction.

The CircleBIM project was presented as part of the programme, introducing its approach to integrating Building Information Management (BIM) for circular construction in the public sector. The presentation highlighted how BIM-based processes can improve sustainability, resource efficiency, and cross-sector collaboration in public building projects.

The audience responded with positive feedback and valuable suggestions for further development. Beyond the presentation, the event offered an excellent opportunity for networking and sharing ideas with other initiatives committed to advancing circular economy principles and digital innovation in construction.

The insights gathered in Odense will help inform CircleBIM’s next steps as the project continues to develop practical tools and strategies for the North Sea Region and beyond.
