Project presentation highlights digital strategies for a sustainable North Sea Region
From 24 to 26 June 2025, the CircleBIM team participated in the North Sea Conference 2025 held in Oldenburg, Germany,a key event for projects collaborating across borders to promote sustainability and innovation in the North Sea Region.
The conference featured a rich programme of plenary sessions, study visits, and networking opportunities, fostering dialogue among stakeholders working on resilience, climate action, and sustainable development.
CircleBIM’s highlight came on the final day during the Project Display and Annual Business Meeting of the CPMR North Sea Commission, where the team formally presented the project’s vision and methodology. The presentation focused on how CircleBIM integrates circular economy principles into digital construction workflows via Building Information Management (BIM), aiming to boost resource efficiency and reduce waste across the public construction sector.
Participation in the event reinforced the importance of transnational cooperation and opened promising avenues for scaling up CircleBIM’s tools and frameworks throughout the North Sea Region, contributing to a greener, more circular built environment.
